Beaverhead County has lifted the closure on the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway. The Byway now has public access as of 09/29/2026. Hazards still exist in the recent burned areas. For your safety please aware of the following:
- Unstable Dead Trees
- Loose rocks and logs
- Burned stump holes
- Ash and needles on the roads
- Flash flooding and mudflows
