The Beaverhead County Attorney’s Office represents the entity of Beaverhead County and all its departments. It prosecutes all felonies occurring in Beaverhead County. It prosecutes for the Sheriff’s Office, the Dillon City Police, the FWP Wardens, the Montana Highway Patrol, the Brand Inspector, the DOT, and others. It conducts mental health commitments. It represents the Department of Family Services in Dependent and Neglect Cases, etc. The Beaverhead County Attorney’s Office also prosecutes bad checks written within the county. If you are the victim of a bad check, please fill out this form and return it to the County Attorney’s Office with the returned check.
