The Beaverhead County Justice Court is here to administer and process to completion traffic and criminal cases, civil actions, small claims actions, and landlord/tenant actions in a judicious and timely manner.
Misdemeanor criminal charges filed by the Beaverhead County Attorney’s Office are handled in the Justice Court.
Citations issued by the Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Office, Montana Highway Patrol, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Motor Carrier Services, Department of Transportation, and Montana Department of Livestock are handled in Justice Court. Justice Court also issues Orders of Protection and Search Warrants.

The Justice of the Peace is further authorized to perform wedding ceremonies and does so in her office and after hours upon request.

Justice Court Zoom
