Barrick is conducting an aerial geophysical survey by helicopter in the Argenta region and will be refueling at the Dillon Airport. The exact date(s) of flight will depend on weather conditions and will be conducted by a helicopter trailed by a large loop (photo below depicts the aerial survey). The survey will conclude on or before February 29, 2024. On days when aerial surveys are conducted, flights will only occur between the hours of 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
